I finally got my camera to work right and below have uploaded them for you to see. I still haven't gone anywhere really really really newsworthy, but we're planning! And it's only my third day here. I love and miss you, awesome family. MWA!!!

Good morning!

Woke up this morning and tried to pull back the curtains to let some light in, and to my surprise saw only a sheet of metal! Hurricane shutters. Ugh. Had a delicious breakfast of yogurt with my awesome Aunt Janet, planning some planet friendly meals via Google. I love you, Family! Mwa mwa.

Hey!!!

Made it safely to Aunt Janet's house. After I ate lobster for the first time ever, though I couldn't finish all of it because there was bacon in it, which was sad. The lobster was really good though. I heard a bunch of plans for the rest of the trip. Can't wait! I love y'all! COMMENT! This is free! Texting isn't!!! Mwa mwa. Good night, sweet dreams.

Ketchup

Let me catch you up:
We left Marlene's to head here, after another less long drive we made it, and discovered that there was no food. So we went to Winn Dixie. Normal, right?
But I got a huge culture shock. Everything there was in Spanish. Even the conversation the ladies behind the counter were having about us. I resisted, and ended up only taking one picture, still looking like a very very naive tourist.
We bought guava pastries, which tasted amazing. I slept on the couch.
This morning we went to a drug store diner straight out of Andy Griffith. The food was awesome, very normal, but awesome. We stopped at a few places, including my parents' old houses, not of which were as exotic as Winn Dixie had turned out to be, then came back here where I updated my blog. All along this time, I've been keeping a travel journal in my cell phone that I'll probably have to turn into my ninth grade report.

I'm at our cousin Marlene's house, not quite there yet. I love y'all and miss you! Thank you for reading this. COMMENT!!! They keep saying it's time to leave and stay just a litttle longer.

My first day!

The food here is strange. I've heard before that this is where you go north to go south. It's true! Even they're salad is weird. Instead of lettuce, tomato, and ranch, maybe egg, they serve multi-colored spinach, raisins, and cheese. AND they put SALMON on their BAGELS!!!
I'm not even in Miami yet. I'll update more tomorrow when I'm not heading out the door. Hopefully my family's reading this, so HEY Y'ALL!!!!!!!! MISS U!!!
